She has a great passion for immersing herself in the topics of founders in order to develop customised solutions and strategies together with them.
If founders have an innovative idea and want to present and communicate it clearly and convincingly when taking the step into self-employment, Kerstin Kamrath is an experienced and committed partner. As a consultant for corporate communication, business coach and trainer, she has already accompanied numerous start-ups on their way. Immediately after founding her own company, she worked extensively in the start-up scene for 14 years – with later solo self-employed people and founding teams.
Over two decades of communication experience meets new ideas
Since 1998, Kerstin Kamrath has been working as a freelance consultant for corporate communication and trainer, and since 2001 also as a business coach – which is her main focus today. She gives workshops and seminars on public relations, marketing and communication in companies and educational institutions. She taught at HAW Hamburg for twelve years and still gives workshops on the communication of research results at Leuphana University Lüneburg. As a business coach, she accompanies executives, players in the creative industries and start-ups through new challenges. In executive coaching, it’s mainly about clear communication in the team or conflict resolution. With start-ups and creatives, she works on the presentation of the business idea, the company or project and on their communication with customers and business partners.
She has experience and expertise in the creative industry as well as in the fields of nutrition, health, psychology, further education and business start-ups. After her studies, she worked for eight years in PR and marketing functions for large corporations, including Unilever, CinemaxX and Kraft Foods. During this time she developed successful concepts and strategies and today passes on this experience to her clients.
Coaching – suitable solutions and strategies for current challenges
Kerstin Kamrath likes to work out solutions together with the founders and to get involved in their topics and tasks. This is how, for example, strategies for marketing, public relations and acquisition are developed, a clear positioning in the market or core statements about the company and its offer that are as clear and comprehensible as possible. This gives security for decisions, clarity for the design of the external image and in contact with customers and business partners, she says. If research is necessary, she also helps with the preparation of a customer survey or competitive analysis. Another typical challenge for founders where she is happy to provide support and the appropriate know-how is writing texts, e.g. for the website, press releases, newsletters or social media posts.
The communication expert is also a trainer and speaker. In her practice-oriented workshops, she imparts well-founded knowledge and her seminar participants also benefit from an intensive dialogue in which they bring in their own questions and examples from their everyday work or the start-up process. In this way, tailor-made solutions are created that can be put directly into practice.
