Preparations for the Hamburg Innovation Summit (HHIS) on July 10 are in full swing. The event has become a tradition for the Startup Port and is firmly established in the event calendar. This year, the Startup Port will once again be prominently represented as a program partner, exhibitor and host on the Startup Stage.

The HHIS is regarded as the largest innovation event in Hamburg and the metropolitan region. Hamburg’s innovation scene presents practical solutions and impulses on 6 stages and over 1,800 square meters of Expo Area in the Oberhafenquartier.
Startup Port Lounge@HHIS: “Doing good pays off – impact can be profitable.”
The Startup Port starts the day with an important topic that concerns many founders of impact startups: “Doing good pays off – impact can make a profit.” The Startup Port Lounge@HHIS aims to dispel the preconception that purpose and profit are mutually exclusive. The question of how social enterprises can also be scalable without having to give up their idealism will be discussed. Guests can expect a panel talk about impact, growth and profitability.
Startup Port Roast@HHIS: Feedback on challenges in the start-up process
In the second half of the day, the Startup Port organizes its infamous Startup Roast. Start-up teams will take to the stage, face the audience’s feedback and speculate on helpful suggestions regarding the challenges in their start-up process. If you would like to be grilled, you can still register until 24.06.25 by contacting Petra Urban at info@startupport.de. And those who would rather be the grill master can mingle with the audience at the Startup Stage and give feedback.
Co-Founders connect!@HHIS: be successful as a founding team
One event that will take place throughout the day is the HHIS edition of Co-Founders connect! Innovative ideas from founders will be presented on posters at the “Wall of Ideas”. Interested parties who are thinking about starting their own business but do not have a start-up idea can find inspiration on the billboard and arrange a speed dating session with the founders via the HHIS event app – tables for the date are reserved at the MachBAR of the Startup Port.
Take a break@MachBAR: time out and exchange
All HHIS visitors are cordially invited to simply drop by the MachBAR. There’ll be drinks, discussions, new contacts and a cheerful Startup Port team.
