A lecture can give you the courage to start up! The Entrepreneurship Lecture Series at HAW Hamburg provides orientation for students and interested parties. Together with professors, start-ups and start-up supporters share their expertise on founding.
With the support of beyourpilot, the Entrepreneurship Lecture Series is taking place again this year: Organised by the GründungsService, professors from HAW Hamburg will present important aspects of start-ups together with founders. The aim of the public series of events: to encourage students and interested parties to start up!
Many examples from the past years show how well this works. For beyourpilot, for example, Astrid Docter moderated the topic “Startup Strategy of the Federal Government” as project coordinator. For her, this also closes a very personal circle: as a student, she herself attended the Entrepreneurship Lecture Series a few years ago. And even better, she got ideas and the courage for her own start-up there. She founded a company after graduating and set up the online yoga studio ForYou Yoga.
The next episodes of the lecture series will deal with questions on business succession, taxes or legal form. And in mid-November, for example, the founders of the start-up Kalumi will report on their experiences and give tips on EXIST start-up funding.
Dates of the Entrepreneurship Lecture Series:
26 October: Start-ups – Choosing the right legal form, with a focus on business succession. 2 November: From the Lecture Hall to the Boss’s Chair – Opportunities for Business Takeovers in the Skilled Trades (SMEs) 9 November: Company takeover from the perspective of a founder 16 November: Starting up with the EXIST-Gründerstipendium – female founders of a start-up report
