The startup neurodactics, a pioneer in the field of digital education, has successfully completed its latest financing round and secured the support of a renowned investor. Startup Port provided support with business development.
Important financial breakthrough for neurodactics GmbH, known for its innovative app Mambio: The startup announced the successful completion of its latest financing round this week, with Fabian Kröher from F.K. Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH as lead investor. “With Fabian Kröher’s expertise and network, we can pursue our goal of making mathematics accessible to all children even more effectively,” says founder Dr. Torben Rieckmann.
The beginning of a success story
The interdisciplinary team led by Dr. Torben Rieckmann, Christopher Hof and Jonas Rethwisch developed the idea for Mambio, an app that teaches children mathematics in a playful and individual way, in March 2021. The project was launched under the auspices of the University of Hamburg’s start-up service and “beyourpilot”, now known as “Startup Port”. “The consultation has helped us make decisive progress,” emphasizes Torben. The project is the result of a study conducted at the University of Hamburg under the direction of Prof. Dr. André Zimpel, Head of the Center for Neurodiversity Research and an expert in educational science.
Future plans and outlook
With the fresh capital, neurodactics plans to further develop its technology and expand the app to other areas of education. “Our aim is to start an education revolution in which every child receives the best possible support, regardless of their individual abilities,” explains Torben.
