A/D-Evolution GmbH has reached an important milestone on its start-up journey. Since December 2025, the team led by founders Finn Wellershaus, Colja Vorhoff, Alexander Becker, Daniel Osterholz and Daniel Pieper has received the EXIST start-up grant from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) for one year.
A/D-Evolution is developing an AI-based platform that significantly simplifies communication between housing management companies, tenants and tradespeople: tenants can use an app to record damage. These are analyzed by the AI and sorted according to importance. Based on the damage detected, suitable tradespeople are automatically found and requested for quotes. Estimated costs, schedules and the respective status can be kept in view at all times via a dashboard.
This central communication platform means a reduction in administrative work by up to two thirds for everyone involved, more transparency throughout the entire process and a digital relief for administrations and the tradespeople involved.
On the way to applying for the EXIST grant, the start-up team was closely supported by the HAW start-up service, which is part of the Startup Port network. It also received support from the AI.STARTUP.HUB ‘s Ideation Program.
