Overview
The matchmaking event where people with ideas and people with skills come together to get off the ground as a startup team. Individual founders or founding teams and people interested in founding a company from different universities and research institutions come together to exchange ideas across disciplines, network, share ideas, think them through further together – and in the process grow together to form ideal founding teams.

Description
Cast off! You have an idea and want to found a startup, but the right crew is still missing? Or you don’t have a start-up idea at all, but want to get hired somewhere and bring some knowledge and qualifications with you? Then “Meet&Match” offers you the opportunity to network and share! Our matchmaking event aims to build successful startup teams. In a guided process lasting several weeks, you go through various phases of getting to know each other and see if you fit together as a team. How does that work? Very simple!
- Phase 1: “Meet&Match” starts with a kick-off event where founders (teams) pitch their startup ideas. Afterwards, there will be a kind of “speed dating” in which founders (teams) and people interested in founding a company will have a first short exchange.
- Phase 2: Following the kick-off event, the aim is to get to know each other better on a personal level. This is about getting to know each other even better and seeing if the sympathy is right.
- Phase 3: If the chemistry between you is right, then it goes into the working phase. Here you can now check how you function as future colleagues in the team. To do this, you work on existing or fictitious problems and test what your collaboration would look like.
- Phase 4: Finally, you will address more sensitive topics, e.g., responsibilities, foundation shares, etc.
The team behind “Meet&Match” accompanies you during each phase, provides you with working and communication guidelines and mediates if it turns out during a phase that it is not a hundred percent fit after all. However, if you pass through all the stages successfully, then we talk about a match. With this, you are ready to put your idea into action as a founding team. And if you notice in the course of the phases that there is something wrong, no problem! You can go through the phases with several people at the same time or simply register for the next round of “Meet&Match”.
