That’s what it’s all about

A workshop for founders and those interested in founding a company who want to make more conscious decisions about who they work with and how.

Founding a company in a team sounds like a shared burden and double strength. But reality shows that many teams fail not because of the idea, but because of unspoken expectations, unclear roles and avoided conflicts. This is exactly where this workshop comes in. “Team or collision course” is aimed at anyone who is toying with the idea of starting a business together – or who is already working in a team and wants to put their collaboration on a solid footing.

The focus is not on the question of “How do I build a team as quickly as possible?”, but rather “Who is really a good fit – and how do we shape the collaboration so that it lasts?”

What can you expect?

The workshop creates a protected space for reflection and exchange. Together, we will take an honest and practical look at team constellations beyond idealized co-founder stories and team-building clichés. A central focus is on two core questions that founders are particularly often concerned with in the context of collaboration:
  • Who would suit me as a co-founder or team member?
  • How do we communicate so that conflicts become visible early on and can be dealt with?

Instead of comprehensive team theories, the focus is on personal fit, clear expectations and functional communication. Participants reflect on the roles, working methods and values they need in a team. And how they can recognize whether a team is sustainable or has fundamental tensions. Building on this, simple, everyday communication principles are taught that promote openness and depersonalize conflicts.

Why this is important for founders

The participants win:
  • Clarity about which roles, working methods and values they need in a collaboration,
  • a realistic sense of how to recognize whether a team is sustainable,
  • the ability to consciously distinguish between personal fit and professional complementarity,
  • basic communication tools to make collaboration transparent, open and conflict-ready.

Founding a team is not seen as a matter of course, but as a conscious decision that deserves reflection.

Speaker

The workshop will be led by Pia D. Schlemmer, systemic coach and future designer.
