That’s what it’s all about

As part of the biospace opening at the new tecHHub, this special Entrepreneurship Lunch is dedicated to the question of what it really takes to turn life science research into marketable products – and who plays a role in this.

This Entrepreneurship Lunch Special is embedded in the all-day official biospace opening event of the DESY Innovation Factory. Throughout the day, there will be guided tours of the biospace labs and exciting insights into the world of life science innovations with short start-up and industry pitches.

What can you expect?

Not every breakthrough belongs in a paper, some belong in the market  – and that’s where innovation begins. Three perspectives, one shared question: What does it take for an experiment to leave the lab and survive the market?

Together with a founder, a researcher, and an industry representative, we explore…

  • … where science meets real-world demand.
  • … why some great ideas never make it out of the lab.
  • … how shared lab spaces like Biospace can accelerate innovation and the journey to market.

There will be an open discussion at the end – bring your questions, ideas, and maybe even your next big hypothesis.

A light lunch and the opportunity to exchange ideas with the other participants will conclude this special Entrepreneurship Lunch.
