That’s what it’s all about

For deep-tech start-ups, strong collaborations can be the deciding factor – between an idea that stays in the lab and one that has a real impact in practice.

At this Entrepreneurship Lunch, we will shed light on deep tech partnerships and explore the question of how start-ups can scale with research and industry.

The description

Partnerships with established companies or large research institutions open up access to markets, infrastructure and expertise – but also bring challenges. Start-ups thrive on speed and creativity, while large players often work with slower processes, risk aversion and complex structures.
Especially in the deep tech sector, where costs are high and development times are long, early trust, the right partners and advocates as well as clearly validated needs are the key to success.
Our speaker, Bernd Hinrichsen, brings experience from industry and start-ups and shares with you learnings on how start-ups can build partnerships that really scale.
The impulse and exchange will be followed by a light lunch with the opportunity for networking.

The Speaker

Bernd Hinrichsen is CSO and co-founder of Momentum Transfer, a company that accelerates materials research with fast, high-quality X-ray measurements. He previously worked as a Research Manager at BASF.
