Many terms of &#8220;Legal English&#8221; seem familiar, but have a completely different meaning than in everyday life (&#8220;false friends&#8221;). This can lead to considerable misunderstandings in contract negotiations. In the seminar, different levels and registers of English and technical and general terminology are practiced in group and individual work. Students can bring their topics into the discussions.
