This year’s focus is on building entrepreneurial mindsets and strong teams – two essential foundations for turning scientific ideas into successful ventures. Through keynote insights, a panel discussion, and interactive networking formats, participants will explore what it takes to develop entrepreneurial skills, build complementary teams, and navigate the early stages of a science-based start-up.

What can you expect?

Be inspired by the keynote from Moritz Möker, Head of Growth at Holy Technologies, who will share lessons from building the first team at a deeptech start-up: why the first hires matter long before there is a finished product, how a complementary founding team can help cover blind spots, and what he wishes someone had told him earlier.

The program will also feature a Panel Discussion with founders and ecosystem experts, as well as Startup Port’s integrated Co-Founders Meet & Match format. At the Wall of Ideas, participants can present their projects and start-up ideas as posters, discover what others are working on, and connect with potential co-founders, business or tech partners, and other members of the Hamburg start-up community. Parallel to the poster session, an open Ask Me Anything format with experts, founders, and innovation partners will offer space for questions, exchange, and networking.
